"Nature is not a place to visit. It is home."
-Gary Snyder
I grew up on a farm in southeastern Kentucky, but my appreciation for nature bloomed later in life. I found myself drawn to hiking and being outside more and more as I got older. I knew being outside made me feel better- physically and mentally, and it has led me to where I am today as a certified Forest Therapy Guide.
I am fortunate I have built a professional career that takes me outside. It allows me to teach children and adults about the magic of nature and all the beings that call the outside their home.
In addition to being a certified Forest Therapy Guide, I am a park professional with over 12 years of experience working in tourism, hospitality, and various park agencies. I have taken my personal love for nature and created Tall Trees Nature Walks as a way to help those who want a deeper connection with Mother Earth.
You’ll forever find me outside, come join me!
